Pressure cleaning is one of the main aspects of roof restoration.
Your roof will look much newer after pressure cleaning being done. This mostly concerns old terracotta roofs where moss and lichen has grown over the years.
It’s important to blast all this moss and lichen off to prevent any damages/cracks to your tiles.
We also offer pressure cleaning for a wide range of roofs (Terracotta, Metal, concrete).
A concrete roof will ideally be painted after pressure cleaning, while a Terracotta could use one coat of glaze / sealer.
First, we inspect your roof and make sure there are no damages that needs to be fixed (cracks in the mortar, broken tiles, etc…). Then, we can proceed to the pressure clean from the top to bottom, using a 4000+Psi pressure washer. We make sure all gutters and downpipes are cleaned and flushed.
This process is quite noisy and a mess is to be expected around the house, but you can be reassured that we’ll spend the time required to clean the surrounding areas on ground level.
